1/2 Day Waterfall | $55

One of our most refreshing and exciting excursions is our trip to explore 7 famous waterfalls. This national park is situated only half an hour from Puerto Plata and consists of the winding river Damajagua, making its way down the mountain forming 27 awesome waterfalls with natural slides and amazing cliffs. This all natural water park has been turned into a mayor attraction especially for young people who like to get an adrenalin rush. It takes about half an hour on foot walking on beautiful trails through the tropical rain forest to get to the waterfalls. Swim across the first pool and start making your way up the rocks. You will be swimming through narrow gorges of crystal clear mountain spring water, jumping and sliding into the pools of water formed in between the limestone cliffs.

For your protection you will be provided with life vests and helmets and we advise you to wear sturdy outdoor shoes or water shoes and not to bring anything that cannot get wet.

Young children below the age of 8 can only climb the first waterfall.

Cable Car Only | $35

The funicular or Cable Car is one of the most popular attractions of the Puerto Plata area. The mountain Isabel de Torres towers over the city with its peak at an altitude of 2,555 feet (779 m) above sea level, giving visitors a breathtaking view of the city laid out below. The funicular was built in 1975 by an Italian company and its cars hold up to 17 people and it takes about 8 minutes to climb and descend the mountain. Visitors can enjoy a beautifully landscaped botanical garden with 215 different plants and flowers of the country.

Also at the top is a copy of the famous statue in Rio de Janeiro of Jesus Christ the Redeemer.

Freestyle Catamaran | $79

It is only a short drive over to the beautiful beach of Playa Dorada where you board this large and comfortable catamaran with white sails for your day of snorkeling, sailing and soaking up the sun! We start with a leisurely cruise to Sosua Bay and while you relax on the deck, the crew will keep you happy with free flowing drinks, sing and dance with our animation team. Sosua Bay is famous for its 16 coral reefs and the boat will drop its anchor twice so you can snorkel and admire the colorful corals and feed the tropical fish. Equipment and guides will be provided for you and lunch is provided on the boat.

Sunset Beach Horseback Riding | $99

Our wonderful Sunset tour on horseback sets out when the day is cooling down. Our horses are saddled up and ready to go and we ride them on small trails through tropical rain forest and sugar cane fields for about 40 minutes until we arrive at the beach. After an exhilarating ride on the beach we take a break during which you will have the chance to swim in the ocean with a horse! We arrive in time at our typical beach restaurant to watch the sun go down. Our table will be right on the ocean facing the sunset where we will enjoy a romantic dinner by candle light while listening to the sound of the waves .After dinner sit around a campfire, this is truly a tropical night at its best!

Wear long pants (jeans or Capri’s) bring a jacket or cardigan for the cool night on the beach and wear comfortable shoes.

Beach Horseback Riding | $79

Horse back riding on the beach is one of the nicest things you can do on a Caribbean island. Experiencing the nature up close from the back of a horse makes all the difference. The wind, the sun and the waves will give you so much positive energy and oxygen. Our tour starts with a relaxing ride on small trails through sugarcane fields and jungle for about 40 minutes until you arrive at the beach. We ride our hearts out on a stretch of solitary secluded beach framed with palm trees. Afterwards there is a break at a typical restaurant for a drink and you have the chance to swim with the horses. Wear long pants (jeans or Capri’s) bathing suits and sturdy outdoor shoes.

This tiny atoll in the middle of the ocean is unspoiled and serene, an absolute piece of paradise. A stretch of pure white sand surrounded by emerald green crystal clear shallow waters and a tropical reef with colorful tropical fish that eat out of your hands, it is a must see!

After a comfortable ride by air-conditioned coach, we board our yacht in the village of La Isabela, and start off with a scenic cruise along the coast. On board the yacht there are comfortable chairs, plenty of shade and a restroom. We will stop for a swim in a natural swimming pool in the middle of the ocean with lots of starfish on the bottom. The crew will put a floating bar and floaters for you in the water and pamper you with champagne, appetizers and top shelf drinks. Lunch is served at the beach club on the mainland; steak with mushroom sauce and seafood with rice, all served with wine. After lunch it’s off to the island where we spend the rest of the day snorkeling, sun bathing and relaxing. We finish the day with a beautiful cruise through the river and the mangroves.

Stage 1 – First the Falls. Encounter the awesome sight and splendor of the waterfalls of Damajagua. Natural beauty, cooling mountain waters, a test of your energy and spirit. Time to climb, jump, swim & water slide! A brisk 45 minute walk to the waterfalls allows you to fully appreciate the geographical wonder of this region! Mother Nature over time has etched out 27 limestone waterfalls, 12 of which we will experience first-hand as we jump into the refreshing natural lagoons. Our guides will take you through every step of the way, ensuring your maximum fun, safety and energy levels at all times.

Stage 2 – Second the Horses. Saddle up and let’s go! First we pick up our horses and set off on a stunning tropical trek. Horse riding is western style and we have horses for beginners to experienced equestrians! Our guides are fun and knowledgeable, the scenery is jaw droopingly spectacular as we hit the trail and cross a palm tree forest and tropical streams!

Stage 3 – Climb Up, Clip On and get ready for some serious Zip Lining! Full tuition is given before-hand at our training centre with our highly skilled Zip Lining Guides. Zip Lining | $90

Only a 30 minute drive along the scenic route from Puerto Plata you will find The Zip Lining Adventure Park , where you can enjoy spectacular views of our city and the Atlantic Ocean.

Once at the park, our highly experienced guides will train each participant on the security system and installation of our specialized equipment and the details of the trail.

This is where your adrenalin starts to flow; when you launch off the first of 10 platforms and 8 cables which make up the system, when you are suspended in the air between 100 and 300 meters, with speeds of up to 30 mph and heights of up to 100 feet above ground, gaining a fusion of adventure and emotion which will result in an unforgettable experience.
